The Queenscliff Community Hub combines the Queenscliff Museum, Library, Information desk and community hub in one facility. The landscape revives a aging park adding an entry forecourt and reinforcing the streetscape presence to the Town Centre. Existing trees are retained reinforcing this important civic park. A museum wall with seating steps creates an informal gathering and sitting space, leading to an interactive frontage designed by KTA to reflect a lighthouse Fresnel lens. Indigenous plantings fringe the Historic Library facade. A complex space is simplified by consistent elements, clear signage and way-finding and softened with indigenous plantings.
