Coldstream Cultural Trail

2017 -2021
Working with Thylacine and Leon Hassall of Yarra Ranges Council, SELA created a series of artworks along a new walking trail between Coldstream and Dame Nellie Melba’s Coombe Cottage. Community stories were developed into themes and conceptualised before being handed over to local artists to create their magic. James Voller created Futures Past (funded by Boral) and Shaun Kirby from Thylacine created the rest. The sculptures are quirky, fun, interesting, and importantly from the stories and ideas of the people of Coldstream.
