The Cubo House rear garden is a small child-friendly garden filled with as many interesting and sustainable features as a large garden. The project applies the surrealist technique of ‘Cubomania’ developed by Phooey Architects to catalogue, reuse and reinvent the demolished building materials. A diversity of materials is strategically interwoven to enable function, fun, tranquility and flexible transition between inside and outside. Sustainability is central to the design brief and design response.
